- Our Vision
About Advocate Christian Academy
Students, their families, faculty, and staff are living in the abundance of Christ due to practicing the spiritual disciplines together. Students are engaging in place-based learning, like designing their school building, in order to build cognitive complexity, engage in authentic and interdisciplinary work govern by student agency. Our students are entrepreneurs who are building new companies, technology, and businesses that shape tomorrow. Due to the opportunities our students have been given, they understand their voice matters, the world needs their creativity, and now is the time to make their contribution. Finally, the students are lifelong learners, explorers, and creators beyond the academic years.
- Philosophy of Ministry
We believe in the importance of knowing one’s own identity in Christ and knowing who He is in us. Each student understands he or she is a unique creation made in the image of God with personal dreams and yearnings specifically assigned to each of them by the Creator. Ephesians 2:10 When we operate in the fullness of Christ, a friendship forms with Jesus where the Holy Spirit is the loudest voice in our minds. John 15:26
Our Distinctives
- We are life long learners. Our students love learning because school is engaging, joyful, and full of discovery. We explore and investigate the world God created, encouraging curiosity and a lasting love for learning.
- We are a multilingual school. Students are immersed daily in both Spanish and English, naturally developing fluency in both languages. They also learn Latin as the root of many foreign languages and in the upper grades, study Greek and Hebrew to deepen their biblical and linguistic understanding equipping them to serve wherever God calls.
- Dyslexic learning is integrated, not ignored. Our curriculum is designed to meet the needs of students with dyslexia, equipping them to excel instead of being left behind.
- The parent knows what is best for their child. We believe parents are the primary decision makers in their child’s education. Our school partners with families in full support and respect of their leadership within the bounds of our Statement of Faith and Standards of Conduct.
- Mission work is essential. Students and families regularly engage in missions and outreach, developing character through service and compassion.
- We are a community of believers actively seeking the Lord. Every family is active in a local church and growing spiritually, ensuring a Christ-centered environment where children are protected from constant worldly influence.
- We value each person as Christ does. Families are welcomed and loved based on faith not financial resources or worldly status. Each student is seen and valued as a child of God.
